Season Final? Ski at Heavenly, 2009/10, Lake Tahoe

Unless there is another storm hits the mountain, this week is my last trip heading to the mountain, specifically, Heavenly at Lake Tahoe.

It has been an EPIC season~~ so many power days, lovely fresh snow all around me ...

Last weekend, I went to the mountain with my camera. The snow condition was not great, a little icy. But, thanks for that, I was able to climb up to the top of Heavenly mountain, 10067 feet above the earth level and took the following image

It took me several rounds to find the right "entrance", where I took off my skis and started climbing

It was so windy that I decided to drop my gears in the middle ...

Please notice the running trail in the middle left - it was where I got off the lift and ski to the "entrance"

As a summary, I use yellow color to highlight the area I conquered this season. Most of my time was spending on the black diamond trails and woods. Even the same trail, because of various snow conditions, gave me very different riding feelings.

My goal for the 2010/11 season:

• completely cover the double black: Mott, Killebrew, The Face, East Bowl
• unmarked area below Sky Express
• KT22 of Squaw Valley
• jumping in terrapark
