What to do when Coke was poured on you? This trick should also work for coffee spill

I was doing my dear-reading, pretty focused ... OMG, I flipped the Coke and half of it directly poured onto my cloth! Hope you can image the situation.

I need a lot of paper towel or napkin - I got those. Besides that, she also handed me a can of Seagram's Original Seltzer and said "use it as water and it will help remove the stain".
