At the end of last season, I already conquered the Sugarbowl. I decided to take my digital camera with me, in case I get bored - also hoping a good weather.

The most important thing I learned today: make the turn while on the top.

Now, I am safe home, totally exhausted, lying in the bed and posting ...

  • In conclusion, it was an awesome day - I started skiing from the moment life started running and ended when lift closed; however, I forgot my redbull, and lied in the snow several times in the middle of the run
  • It is my third of this season and the first of 2010 ski trip
  • There was only 0.5-1 inch snow yesterday, no fresh snow welcome us; it started raining at the very end of the day
  • This morning, all trails were very icy and HARD - things got much much better in the afternoon with warmer temperature
  • I tuned the skis before this trip. When I was on it this morning: it was feeling so smooth; especially with the edge sharpen, turning was much much easier. However, because of the icy start, I ended on the green trails for the first 30 minutes to warm me up ...
  • Our ski bus host started skiing when he was 2. On his first run today, he jumped off a cliff and hit the icy surface - injured, ended with icy pack on his face; bless
  • Finally, I started to be able to do turning in bumps; however, those bumps in the double black diamond trail still beyond my ability at this moment; I am seriously thinking about taking a private lesson ...
  • The cider helped me had a good nap on our bus home, which gave me energy to post the photos.
