Before I continue with some updates from today and videos from yesterday, I want to make one thing clear because all of the major news outlets are ignoring a very important fact. Yes, the Chinese government bears a huge amount of blame for this situation. But the protests yesterday were NOT peaceful. The original protests from the past few days may have been, but all of the eyewitnesses in this room agree the protesters yesterday went from attacking Chinese police to attacking innocent people very, very quickly. They appeared to target Muslim and Han Chinese individuals and businesses first but many Tibetans were also caught in the crossfire.

It has not been a peaceful week for Tibet. According to posts on Internet from people living in Lhasa (found, compiled and translated by GlobalVoices, a non-profit project from Harvard University) , and this western blogger traveling in Lhasa, these Tibetan activists burnt down shops owned by Han ethnic Chinese, attacked Chinese passengers in streets, and crashed and burnt cars parked along side the roads. Video of such violence can be found here.
Sadly, with such tragedy going on, major medias still don’t want to give an all-sided and objective coverage, but instead pick on their favorite angle: the Communist Beijing suppressing free Tibet. For example, on March 15 CNN reports on it’s web page that people were killed in Tibet under the current turbulence initiated by Tibetan independent groups. Without reliable source the article was not able to point out who were killing and being killed in Tibet, but the lines tend to give people the impression that the Chinese government was slaughtering Tibetan civilians.
Nonetheless, a photo was found on Internet, clearly the original picture of the headline news image, but with part cropped by CNN before taking into use. By comparing the two photos it is obvious to see what a message CNN is trying to tell, and what information it is trying to hide, by cropping out the truth.

What a nice CNN headline photo! The one on the right is the original full size photo, and CNN editor just cut out the part "they" want!
Hello world!
Again, this guy said these things without being there or knowing the truth! So stupid he is and did he just forget what the feeling he had when 911 happened.
"But the events in Tibet these last few days unfortunately show a different face of China," said Obama, who is vying for the Democratic party's presidential nomination against rival Senator Hillary Clinton.
"Now is the time for Beijing to take steps that would change the image people have of China later this year by changing the reality of how they treat Tibet and Tibetans. Now is the time to respect the human rights and religious freedom of the people of Tibet."
What he will do, if all the black American in IL want to be independent and start to use violence!
"...... And NAFTA needs to be reviewed ......"
Please don't say anything to what you don't know.
By the way, who is using violence to whom?
